As volume and momentum increase (Thank you, ftd customers!), we're collecting your most frequently asked questions and posting answers at this link. Please let us know if you think of any more.
Q: How soon will I receive my frame the [date] order?
A: All of our pieces are custom-made. Turnaround times vary depending on frame style. Rush orders may be available upon request; others typically take up to two weeks from the date of order plus the shipping time needed to reach your zip code. If you let us know which frame style you are interested in by emailing
info@framethedate.com, we can e-mail you the estimated ship date (+/- 1 day). That way, we can make sure the piece will be there when you need it. Otherwise, ftd estimates shipment within two weeks of order placement, and whenever possible, tries to ensure delivery before the date that is "framed." Want your frame for Valentine's Day? Email us the ship to zip code and frame style you are interested in and we'll email you back to let you know if it's feasible!
Q: What size will my finished piece be?
A: We currently offer four standard models (see below). All sizes are approximate as frames are made from natural wood and slight variations may occur. Custom sizes are also available upon request.

Q: What if I don’ t have an event photo to go in my gift?
A: Our Event Photo frames are designed with bendable tabs in the backing so that recipients can insert their own photograph with ease. We place a frame the [date] logo insert as a place marker when we complete your piece.
Q: If I don’ t have an event photo, why does your site ask me to provide one?
A: It's all to keep our online ordering system happy! If you don't have an event photo that you want us to frame, please upload a random photo (your recipient will never see it) when you select an Event Photo frame. Then, in the comments box in the "other information" section on the first checkout page, indicate that your piece will be completed by the recipient- no event photo included. Or, if it’ s easier, you can just send us an email.
Q: What is the "finish" like on the Barnwood frames?
A: Our Barnwood frames are natural and eco-friendly; color and condition reflect the age of the wood; and each frame is different from the next.
Q: How do I order custom pieces?

Q: How do I get one of those adorable ftd baby pieces?
A: Our frame the [date] b.a.b.y. site is still under construction, so we are designing the pieces via email correspondence in the meantime. Our baby line is all about creativity, and we frequently shoot to order as we continue to develop our baby number library.
